AgentA ("the App") is a desktop application that runs primarily on your Windows PC. This policy explains what data the App processes, where it is stored, and when data may leave your device.
We designed AgentA to be local-first: your documents and database are stored on your computer by default.
The App may store the following on your PC (typically under %APPDATA%\agenta-frontend\data):
We do not operate a central cloud database for your document content in the default configuration.
The App reads files in folders you designate ("watch path"). With your explicit permission in Settings, it may rename or move files on disk. You can use scan-only mode without physical file changes.
If you enable optional features, data may be transmitted as follows:

Recommended AI models (e.g. Google Gemma 4) are not included with AgentA. You install them separately through Ollama and are subject to each model provider's license (recommended Gemma 4 models use Apache License 2.0). Realight Dev does not redistribute model weights.
We do not control third-party services' policies. Review their terms separately.
When you use chat, RAG, classification, or extraction features with a local Ollama installation, inference runs on your machine. We do not receive your prompts or document content unless you use a remote Ollama endpoint or other integration you configure.
Default AgentA build: We do not collect analytics, telemetry, or document content on Yevhen Polonik / Realight Dev servers.
If we add optional telemetry or crash reporting in the future, we will update this policy and provide notice in the App.
Microsoft Store: Microsoft may collect download, purchase, and diagnostic data per the Microsoft Store and Windows privacy policies. See Microsoft's privacy statement.
Website (agenta.web.app): The product landing page may load a third-party visitor-country map from Flag Counter. That service can receive your IP address to estimate country of visit. Countries are shown without visitor counts on the page. See Flag Counter's own privacy terms for how they process data.

We do not receive your payment card details. Microsoft processes payments and subscriptions. A 14-day in-app trial of Personal Pro features may be offered on first launch; after the trial, you may continue on a free tier with limited features unless you purchase a subscription or lifetime add-on. You can cancel a subscription in your Microsoft account settings.

No system is fully secure. Do not expose the App's backend port to the public internet. Keep credentials confidential.
AgentA is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect children's data.
If you use email or Telegram, data may be processed in countries where those providers operate. Local file data remains on your PC unless you configure remote services.
Depending on your location (e.g. GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because data is stored locally, you can delete application data on your device. Contact us for questions about data we hold as publisher (e.g. support emails).
We may update this policy. We will post the new version at this URL and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
